What is Dropshipping?

Dropshipping is a supply chain management technique that helps resellers (that's you) minimize inventory and stock-holding risks. When a product is sold, the reseller passes the customers' order information to the dropshipper (that's us at Uniqbe Limited) who then packages and ships the product directly to your customers. This process minimizes exposure for the reseller as you do not need to purchase the product prior to it being sold. This essentially allows the reseller to expand their product range without worrying about the fast evolving marketplaces and trends potentially outdating unsold inventory at no cost to the reseller. Dropshippping ultimately enables the reseller to focus on the sale whilst having Uniqbe tidily manage the logistics. Dropshipping is a great way to get started with e-commerce. It's not a concept immediately understood by many and it has had its fair share of shady examples, scams and other gimmicks. So we won't blame you if you are wary.

Dropshipping is a perfectly legal retail fulfillment method used by many to create successful e-commerce businesses. There's no fairy dust here or a make-a-quick-buck-working-from-home pitch. E-commerce still requires genuine hard work and everything you'd expect to be necessary to run any business. Dropshipping just cuts the risk of inventory and logistical errors so you can focus on sales and marketing.
