- Available for Apple devices in the App Store for $1.99, ComicBook! lets you create digital cards with pizazz. You start by taking an instant photo or choosing from your iPhone’s photo library. Add captions, thought bubbles, graphics like throbbing hearts and a slew of ultra-graphic comic book batman-like expressions. Once done, you can save, email, tweet or Facebook your personal message of love.
- Want to express your love in a different language? Check out mylanguage and Phrasebooks available in the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace. For just a few bucks, you can take command of verbal translations and learn more than 55 languages and many dialects on the fly, right from your iPhone or Android device.
- Greetings on BBM is a free BlackBerry app that lets you send personal seasonal messages, including Valentine’s Day, with the solid rock security of BlackBerry.
- So you want to be cheesy? ThePhoto Heart Locket wallpaper on the Android Marketplace ($0.99) will frame your favourite photos in over-the-top, mushy Valentine’s themes. It’s so tacky you can only get away with it on one day of the year.
- Flower Garden grows flowers right on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. It’s free as of February 10, perfect for nurturing your flowers and making your own bouquet for someone special. Digital green thumbs can seed, water, grow, empty the pot or cut flowers for bouquet requests. You can even use color dust to change the colours of your flowers.
