Taoyuan, Taiwan-based HTC Corp. has begun teasing a 4G smartphone under wraps on its website. “The first to 4G, again,” boasts the company. HTC goes on to indicate that more will be revealed on January 6 of 2011. It’s highly likely that either HTC, Verizon Wireless, or both will announced and unveil the mysterious device at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show [CES] in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It’s highly believed that the 4G device under the wraps is the highly-anticipated HTC Incredible HD, which is also known as HTC Mecha, and most recently, HTC Thunderbolt.
The HTC Incredible HD, Mecha, Thunderbolt, or whatever it ends up being called has quickly become one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2011.
